Company Bio
Dean Team Golf Carts Automotive Group was started by company founder Dick Dean in 1978. A member of the automotive industry, Dick started his own automobile dealership featuring a large pre-owned car operation and new Volkswagens. The company has been family run since 1978 and quickly became known for quality and customer service. It grew to 5 locations, 5 new car franchises, 1000+ pre-owned cars and 200+ employees!
Dick Dean has since retired passing ownership down to his sons Patrick Dean and William Dean. They continued the success and growth of Dean Team Automotive, Inc.
Sean Dean is the cousin of Patrick and William and in 2015 wanted to put his entrepreneur skills to the test and opened his first location in Brentwood, Missouri called Dean Team Golf Carts with the help and support of the Dean Team group. He took the ideas and practices from Dean Team Automotive and brought them to the golf cart industry in the St. Louis area.

In 2019, Dean Team Golf Carts opened its "Build Center" in Maplewood, Missouri to improve the quality of the service provided to Parts/Service customers, and to build custom pre-owned carts. At the Build Center, customers were welcome to come in and see all the latest innovations & accessories on Dean Team Golf Carts interactive accessory wall. Meanwhile, they could watch the technicians building the golf carts and doing repair work. This location was closed down in 2023 and integrated into the Chesterfield location.
In 2023, Dean Team Golf Carts moved into it's homebase in Chesterfield, Missouri. The Chesterfield location has a 13,500 square foot showroom and repair center. Carring five of the most popular new cart brands in E-Z-GO, Cushman, Icon EV, Epic and Yamaha. It also holds the largest inventory of custom used vehicles in the midwest with EZ-GO, Yamaha and Club Car.
In 2025, Dean Team Golf Carts opened their second location, which is based in Maplewood, Missouri. The Maplewood location has a 4,500 square foot showroom floor, and was opened in order to provide quality golf cart options closer to the city of St. Louis.
